Introduction

Examination is an important part of a student’s educational journey because it tests knowledge, understanding and preparation. Whether you are preparing for WAEC, NECO, JAMB, university examinations, professional examinations, certification tests, or entrance examinations, you need to prepare adequately and commit your efforts into God’s hands.

The Bible tells us in Daniel 1:17 that God gave Daniel and his companions knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom. This shows that God can give His children wisdom, understanding, sound memory and the ability to excel academically.

However, prayer should never replace preparation. You cannot spend the time meant for studying on entertainment, social media, sleeping or other distractions and expect prayer to do what proper preparation should have accomplished.

Proverbs 21:31 says, “The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD.” As you pray for examination success, study your books, revise your notes, practice relevant past questions and seek legitimate help in areas you do not understand.
