Introduction

A Curriculum Vitae, commonly known as a CV, is more than a simple document that lists your education, skills, and work experience. It represents your professional identity and serves as a gateway to opportunities, promotion, financial stability, and career advancement. In today’s competitive world, thousands of people may apply for the same position, yet only a few are selected. While qualifications and experience are important, the favour of God can make a significant difference in determining who is remembered, selected, and promoted.

Many people have impressive CVs but still experience repeated rejection, delay, or silence from employers. They send their applications to many organizations but receive no response. Sometimes their documents are ignored, misplaced, or overshadowed by others. In some situations, a person who appears less qualified may receive the opportunity instead. These experiences can be discouraging and confusing. From a spiritual perspective, believers understand that success in life is not only determined by human effort but also by divine intervention and favour.

The Bible teaches that God has the power to establish the work of our hands and to open doors that no one can shut. When God places His favour upon a person, even ordinary efforts can produce extraordinary results. What seems small can become great, and what is ignored can suddenly gain attention. This is why it is important for believers to commit every aspect of their lives to God, including their career documents such as their CV.

Praying over your CV is a way of inviting God’s presence into your professional journey. It is an act of faith that acknowledges God as the ultimate source of promotion and opportunity. When you declare prayers over your CV, you are asking God to remove invisible barriers, silence powers of rejection, and connect your application with the right people who can recognize your value. Prayer also helps to release divine favour so that your CV stands out among many others.

Throughout the Scriptures, we see examples of God granting favour that changed people’s lives. Joseph found favour in the house of Potiphar and later in the prison before he was elevated to become a ruler in Egypt. Esther received favour before the king, which positioned her to save her people. Daniel’s wisdom and excellence made him stand out in a foreign land. In each of these cases, divine favour elevated them beyond ordinary circumstances.

Similarly, when you pray over your CV, you are asking God to let His favour speak for you where your voice cannot reach. Your CV may travel to places you cannot physically go. It may be read by people you have never met. Prayer ensures that when your document arrives before decision-makers, it carries the fragrance of divine favour and recognition.

These declaration prayers are designed to help you speak life, favour, and divine connection over your CV. As you pray, believe that God is able to guide your applications, open the right doors, and bring you into the opportunities that align with your purpose and destiny. With faith, dedication, and prayer, your CV can become an instrument that leads you into your next level of breakthrough and testimony.

DECLARE IT NOW

1. Father, I lay this CV before Your throne today. Every word written on it is under the covering of the blood of Jesus Christ. I declare that this document carries divine attraction and supernatural weight. It shall not be overlooked, rejected, or buried. The hand of God is upon it, and His glory rests upon my qualifications, in Jesus name.

Psalm 75:6-7, “Promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south: But God is the judge.”

2. I declare that my CV shall find favour before every recruiter, hiring manager, and decision maker. Every eye that reads this document shall be supernaturally drawn to my name. The spirit of favour rests upon these pages. I am not begging, I am walking into what God has already ordained for me, in Jesus name.

Proverbs 18:16, “A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.”

3. I declare that every door this CV knocks on shall be opened unto me. No closed door shall remain closed against my destiny. The God who opens and no man shuts is opening uncommon doors of opportunity through this CV right now, in Jesus name.

Revelation 3:8, “I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it.”

4. I come against every spirit of rejection assigned against my CV. I bind the spirit of disfavour, the spirit of oversight, and the demon of repeated failure and disappointment. My CV shall not be rejected. My application shall not be abandoned or forgotten. I cancel every ancestral pattern of stagnation over my career, in Jesus name.

Isaiah 54:17, “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper.”

5. I declare that no witchcraft hand shall touch this CV. No marine spirit, household enemy, or envious power shall manipulate the review of my document. I plead the blood of Jesus over every process, every system, and every human being that handles this CV, in Jesus name.

Job 5:12, “He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise.”

6. I declare that somewhere today, there is a seat reserved for me. A position that carries my name in the spirit realm is waiting for me to step into it. This CV is the physical instrument God is using to connect me to my appointed place of assignment and fruitfulness, in Jesus name.

Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil.”

7. I declare that the spirit of excellence rests upon my qualifications. Like Daniel, I carry an excellent spirit that shall distinguish me from every other candidate. What I have studied and what I carry shall speak louder than any competition. God’s wisdom is my advantage, in Jesus name.

Daniel 6:3,  “Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him.”

8. I declare that the shame of prolonged unemployment is lifted off my head today. I shall no longer answer questions about my job with sorrow and embarrassment. The reproach of men is removed. Every person who has looked down on me because I am still searching shall witness my testimony. God is turning my story around for His glory, in Jesus name.

Isaiah 61:7, “For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion.”

9. I declare that the frustration of sending out CVs with no response is over. The pain of watching others get hired while I wait is ending today. I refuse to give up. I refuse to quit. The God who kept Joseph in the prison for two years and then promoted him in one day is the same God who is working for me right now. My set time has come, in Jesus name.

Psalm 126:5, “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.”

10. I declare that every ancestral curse of poverty, mediocrity, and career failure is broken over my life today. Whatever my father struggled with, whatever my mother could not attain, I refuse to inherit it. The blood of Jesus has redeemed me from the curse of the law. I am the first of a new generation of excellence in my bloodline, in Jesus name.

Galatians 3:13, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us.”

11. I declare that no household enemy shall be able to use my CV against me. No evil hand from my father’s house or mother’s house shall manipulate what God has written in my destiny. Every arrow of witchcraft fired at my career to make it unfruitful is roasted by the fire of the Holy Ghost. My career is covered, in Jesus name.

Psalm 91:10, “There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.”

12. I declare that the pattern of starting and not finishing, of getting close and then losing the offer, of being second when God ordained me to be first that pattern is broken today. I come against every spirit of near-success and almost-there. I shall obtain the offer. I shall sign the contract. I shall start the job, in Jesus name.

Numbers 23:20, “Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it.”

13. I declare that I am not going backwards. I am not stepping down. Whatever position I apply for, God shall grant me more than I requested. Like Esther who came for one request and received up to half the kingdom, I am stepping into more than I imagined. My next appointment is an upgrade, a promotion, a divine elevation, in Jesus name.

Esther 5:3, “What wilt thou, queen Esther?… it shall be even given thee to the half of the kingdom.”

14. I declare that I am coming out from the back of the line. God is moving me to the front. The last shall be first. The CV that was at the bottom of the pile is now at the top. The application that was forgotten has been remembered. I am being promoted from obscurity to prominence, in Jesus name.

Matthew 20:16, “So the last shall be first, and the first last.”

15. At this midnight hour I declare that like Paul and Silas, I am praying and my prison doors are shaking. Every closed door in my career is being violently opened by the earthquake of God. The chains of unemployment are falling off my hands. Angels are moving on my behalf while the world sleeps. What the enemy locked up by day, God is unlocking by night, in Jesus name.

Acts 16:25-26,  “And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed… and immediately all the doors were opened.”

16. I declare that as I sleep tonight, God shall speak to me through dreams and visions. He shall direct my steps which company to apply to, which person to contact, which door to knock on. I shall wake up with clarity, with divine strategy, and with supernatural confidence. The LORD is my career counsellor, in Jesus name.

Job 33:15, “In a dream, in a vision of the night… Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction.”

17. I thank You Father that my job is already done. I thank You that the call is coming. I thank You that the offer letter is being prepared. I enter into praise before I see it because faith does not wait for evidence, faith creates the evidence. I praise You now with everything in me. The battle is won. The victory is mine, in Jesus name.

2 Chronicles 20:22,  “And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the enemy.”

18. I declare that I shall have a testimony. I shall stand before people and tell them what God did with my CV. I shall say, I prayed over this document and God moved. I shall be an evidence of God’s faithfulness to the unemployed, to the overlooked, to the forgotten. My story shall give someone else faith to believe. To God alone be the glory, in Jesus name.

Psalm 40:3, “And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.”

18. I seal every declaration spoken over this CV with the blood of Jesus Christ. I seal it with the fire of the Holy Ghost. I seal it with the word of God that shall not return void. Angels of the LORD, go before this CV wherever it is sent. Prepare the hearts. Open the doors. Release the favour. I speak to the north, the south, the east, and the west, give up my job. Hold it no longer. I am coming into my own. My name is written in the books of those who shall prosper. It is done. It is settled. Heaven has heard. In Jesus mighty name. Amen and Amen.

Isaiah 55:11,  “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void.”

19. I declare that my name on this CV is not an ordinary name. It is a name that has been written in the counsel of God before the foundation of the world. When recruiters and employers read my name, something shall stir on the inside of them. A divine pull shall draw them to call me. My name shall ring in their ears until they act, in Jesus name.

Isaiah 43:1,  “Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.”

20. I declare that God is giving me a new name in the professional world. No longer shall I be addressed as unemployed, no longer shall I be known as the one who could not find work. I receive a new identity. I am sought after. I am valued. I am the candidate they cannot afford to pass over. My new name is favour, in Jesus name.

Isaiah 62:2,  “And thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.”

21. I declare the restoration of every opportunity that the enemy has stolen from me. Every interview I should have been invited to, every job offer that was diverted to someone else through satanic manipulation, every promotion that was taken from me by household wickedness, I recover them all today by the blood of Jesus. What the enemy stole seven times over, I recover sevenfold, in Jesus name.

1 Samuel 30:8,  “Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.”

22. I declare that no monitoring spirit shall track the movement of my CV to destroy it. No evil eye shall locate my application and scatter it. No spirit of Herod shall kill my breakthrough before it is born. I cover my CV, my email, my LinkedIn profile, and every platform carrying my name with the blood of Jesus Christ, in Jesus name.

Zechariah 2:5,  “For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.”

23. I speak to every recruiter and head hunter who shall come across my profile today. I declare that their eyes shall not pass over my name. The Holy Spirit shall cause them to pause, to look again, to bookmark me, to reach out. God is placing a divine hook in their spirit that draws them to my CV. They are helping me without knowing it, God is using them, in Jesus name.

Ezra 1:1,  “The LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation.”

24. I speak to every human resources manager in the organization God is sending me to. I declare that God is softening their heart before my CV arrives. The policies that would have disqualified me are being overridden by divine favour. The requirements I do not fully meet on paper are being covered by the anointing of God upon my life. They shall make an exception for me, in Jesus name.

Nehemiah 2:8,  “And the king granted me, according to the good hand of my God upon me.”

25. I speak to every chief executive, director, and final decision maker at the top of the organizations I am applying to. I declare that God is speaking to them in their sleep, in their boardrooms, and in their quiet moments. He is creating a vacancy for me where there seemed to be none. He is expanding the budget to accommodate my salary. The heart of the king is in the hand of the LORD, in Jesus name.

Proverbs 21:1,  “The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.”

26. I declare that I am the stone the builders rejected who is becoming the chief cornerstone. Every company that sent me a rejection email made a mistake they shall live to regret. God is redirecting me to a greater door. What closed in my face was not my door, my real door is still ahead. The rejection of men is the redirection of God, in Jesus name.

Psalm 118:22, “The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.”

27. I declare healing over every wound that rejection has left in my soul. I shall not carry bitterness into my next interview. I shall not walk into a new opportunity with the fear of the last failure. The God who heals all diseases is healing the emotional scars of unemployment today. I enter my next application whole, confident, and expectant, in Jesus name.

Psalm 147:3, “He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.”

28. I declare supernatural speed over my employment process. What normally takes months shall happen in days. What takes days shall happen in hours. The God of suddenly is operating in my situation. I shall receive an unexpected call. An unexpected email. An unexpected visit that changes my story overnight. God is compressing time on my behalf, in Jesus name.

Amos 9:13, “Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the ploughman shall overtake the reaper.”

29. I declare that before I finish sending out this CV, God is already answering. Before the ink dries, the harvest is coming. Before I close the laptop, heaven has dispatched my blessing. I serve a God who answers before I call and hears while I am yet speaking. My answer is already on the way, in Jesus name.

Isaiah 65:24,  “And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.”

30. I declare that when I step into my new workplace, I shall be established and not shaken. No office politics shall uproot me. No jealous colleague shall truncate my tenure. No wicked supervisor shall make my working life unbearable. I am planted by God and watered by His grace. I shall grow, thrive, and bear fruit in every organization God places me, in Jesus name.

Psalm 1:3, “And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season.”

31. I declare that I shall carry the presence of God into my new workplace. My arrival shall change the atmosphere. Where there is darkness, my light shall shine. Where there is confusion, my peace shall speak. Like Joseph in Potiphar’s house, the blessing of the LORD shall come upon the entire organization because of my presence. I am a carrier of glory, in Jesus name.

Genesis 39:5,  “The LORD blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake; and the blessing of the LORD was upon all that he had.”

32. I declare that I shall not send out my CV with fear and trembling in my spirit. I shall not second-guess every word on the page. I shall not shrink back from applying for great positions because I feel unworthy. God has not given me a spirit of fear. I am qualified by grace, equipped by the Spirit, and sent by the Most High God. I apply with boldness and confidence, in Jesus name.

2 Timothy 1:7,  “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

33. I silence every internal voice that says I am not good enough, not experienced enough, not connected enough, not educated enough. Those voices are not from God. I cast down every imagination and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God concerning my career. God says I am more than a conqueror. I believe God over every negative thought, in Jesus name.

2 Corinthians 10:5,  “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God.”

35. I declare that God is repositioning me for a new season of purpose. The old career path has served its time. God is now opening a new lane for me — a lane that aligns with the gifts He placed inside me from my mother’s womb. I shall not be afraid of the unfamiliar. I shall not mourn the old when God is doing something new. I step boldly into the new assignment, in Jesus name.

Isaiah 43:19, “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?”

36. I declare that the anointing on my life is transferable across industries and professions. My gifts are not locked in one sector. God is showing me how the skills from my past career are the exact foundation my new career needs. Nothing is wasted. Every experience is a building block. I carry a portfolio of divine preparation for this new thing, in Jesus name.

Romans 11:29,  “For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.”

37. I declare that the promotion I have laboured for and have not yet received is coming to me now. I have served faithfully. I have been diligent. I have not murmured or complained. My time of waiting is over. God sees my sacrifice. He sees the extra hours, the unrecognized effort, the passed-over moments. He is now making them all count in one divine act of promotion, in Jesus name.

Psalm 75:6-7, “For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south: But God is the judge.”

38. I declare that no good work I have done shall go unrewarded. Every seed of excellence I have sown in this organization shall produce a harvest of recognition and reward. The eyes of my superiors shall be opened to see my value. The hearts of decision makers shall be moved to act in my favour. I receive my reward now, in Jesus name.

Hebrews 6:10, “For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love.”

39. I declare that my breakthrough is creating a path for my children. They shall not begin life from the bottom of struggle where I started. The doors I am opening by prayer shall remain open for the next generation. My children’s CVs shall carry the blessing of their parent’s intercession. Generational poverty ends with me. Generational prosperity begins with me, in Jesus name.

Psalm 112:2,  “His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.”

40. I declare that the job I am stepping into shall be large enough to cover my household. My salary shall feed my family, educate my children, care for my parents, and still have enough left over to give to the work of God. I am not seeking employment for survival alone, I am seeking the establishment of my entire household, in Jesus name.

Acts 16:31, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.”

41. I declare that I shall not blend into the darkness of the workplace. I shall be the salt that preserves and the light that exposes. I shall pray for my colleagues in secret and watch God move openly. I shall be known as a person of integrity, of peace, and of uncommon wisdom. My testimony shall win souls in the boardroom, at the reception desk, and in the corridors, in Jesus name.

Matthew 5:13-14, “Ye are the salt of the earth… Ye are the light of the world.”

42. I declare that God is sending me to my next employer not just as an employee but as a minister. My assignment is dual — to work with excellence and to witness with love. I shall not be silent about my God. I shall not be ashamed of the gospel in any professional setting. God has positioned me as His ambassador in the marketplace, in Jesus name.

2 Corinthians 5:20,  “Now then we are ambassadors for Christ.”

The Overcomer’s Declaration
I am an overcomer. Every obstacle that has stood between me and my employment destiny is falling right now. The mountain of unemployment is speaking to itself, be thou removed and cast into the sea. I do not beg. I do not cry in defeat. I declare with the voice of a warrior that my season of breakthrough has fully come. I am the answer to someone’s organizational problem. I am the missing piece in their team. God has already signed my appointment letter in heaven and the earth must now carry out the order. From this day forward, I walk in my ordained position. In the matchless, mighty, and triumphant name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Amen. Amen.

Revelation 12:11, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony.”
