BEING CHASED IN THE DREAM? LET’S PRAY!
There are many people who, each time they sleep, find themselves running, escaping, hiding, or being pursued by unknown figures, animals, masquerades, or even familiar faces in the dream.
You wake up tired, afraid, confused, and sometimes sweating. Beloved, this is not ordinary dream. This is not just your mind playing tricks on you. In many cases, it is a spiritual signal that something is pursuing your destiny.
The Bible says, “Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night.” That means there are real activities that take place in the night. The night is a time of spiritual warfare. And when you constantly find yourself being chased in your dreams, it is often a sign of spiritual attack, intimidation, or pursuit by unseen forces.
To be chased in the dream is not a good experience. It represents fear, oppression, delay, and sometimes a pursuit against your progress in life. There are powers that do not want you to move forward.
There are forces that want to capture your glory, frustrate your efforts, or keep you in a cycle of running without arrival. That is why in the dream, you are always running but never reaching your destination.
For some people, the moment the pursuer is about to catch them, they wake up suddenly. That is mercy speaking to rescue from that attack. God is interrupting the attacks against yoi. But the fact that the chase continues means the battle is not yet over.
Being chased in the dream can come from different sources. It may be powers from your foundation, household enemies, witchcraft agents, or monitoring spirits assigned to track your destiny. Sometimes, it is the spirit of fear trying to weaken your confidence. Or a certain person who has vowed to deal with you. Other times, it is a stubborn strongman enforcing bondage and refusing to let you go free.
When you keep running in your dreams, it shows something is troubling you. it could be a problem or someone. The enemy wants you to believe you are weak, that you cannot confront them, that you must keep escaping or running without direction. But that is a lie. In Christ, you are the light.
There are also cases where being chased in the dream is connected to unresolved spiritual battles. It may be linked to covenants, wrong environment, bad relationship, or doors that were opened knowingly or unknowingly. But no matter the source, the good news is this: every evil pursuit of your life can be stopped by the power of God.
The Bible says, “Fight against them that fight against me.” That means you can call on God to arise as your defender. You can command your pursuers to stop. You can reverse the chase and parlayze their weapons. You can move from being the one running to the one standing in authority.
From today, you will no longer run helplessly in your dreams. You will receive power to stand, confront, and overcome every evil pursuer after you. Every spirit chasing your life will lose its grip. Every power pursuing your destiny will be destroyed.
As we go into these prayers, I want you to pray with holy anger and confidence. This is not the time to be silent. This is not the time to be weak. This is the time to declare: “Enough is enough!” Because from tonight, every power chasing you in the dream shall be chased away by fire, in the name of Jesus.
