Someone Knocking My Door Spiritually
Opening Scriptures

Introduction
When someone is knocking on your door, you have to tell find out spiritually who that person is. Is an angel, a demon or a person. Many times, people hear a knock at their door and they respond casually. But as believers, we must understand that not every knock is ordinary.
Some knocks are natural, but some knocks are spiritual. Some knocks are opportunities, and some knocks are distractions. Some knocks are blessings sent by God, and some knocks are battles sent by the enemy. That is why prayer is important when someone is knocking at your door.
That is why you must have discernment. Every knock is a message. Every knock is a signal. Every knock is a request for attention. And if you do not pray, you may open the wrong door. When God knocks, He knocks gently. He does not bang on the door. He does not kick it down.
He does not scream or shout or demand entry. He knocks and He waits. He speaks and He listens for your response. His knock brings peace, not fear. His knock brings clarity, not confusion. His knock brings hope, not dread.
God’s knock sounds like a still small voice. It sounds like a scripture that keeps coming to your mind. It sounds like a sermon that speaks directly to your situation. It sounds like a dream that leaves you with peace and direction. It sounds like an opportunity that aligns with your calling and your character.
When God knocks, you feel drawn to open the door. Not out of fear but out of love. Not out of pressure but out of desire. There is something warm, something inviting, something safe about God’s knock. The Bible says in Revelation 3:20, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”
Notice that God says “if any man hear my voice.” God’s knock comes with a recognisable voice. His sheep know His voice. If you belong to Him, you will recognize when He is knocking because something inside you will say, “That is my Father. That is my Shepherd. That is my God.”
When God knocks, open the door quickly. Do not hesitate. Do not delay. Do not say “come back later.” When the King of Glory is at your door, you drop everything and you let Him in. The second knock is the knock of the enemy. When the enemy knocks, the atmosphere is completely different. His knock brings fear.
His knock brings anxiety. His knock brings confusion. His knock brings a sense of urgency that pressures you to act before you think, to move before you pray, to open before you discern. The enemy’s knock often comes with disguise. He does not show up looking like a devil.
He shows up looking like an opportunity that is too good to be true. He shows up looking like a friend who always seems to bring trouble. He shows up looking like a relationship that excites your flesh but disturbs your spirit. He shows up looking like a business deal that promises quick money but requires you to compromise your integrity.
The enemy’s knock also comes with impatience. He does not like to wait. He knocks loudly. He knocks repeatedly. He creates a sense of emergency. He says, “Open now or you will miss it.” He says, “This is your only chance.” He says, “Everyone else is doing it.” He pressures you because he knows that if you take the time to pray, you will recognize him and keep the door shut.
Here is a rule that will save your life: anything that pressures you to act without praying is not from God. God never rushes you. God never pressures you. God never forces your hand. If something is demanding that you open the door RIGHT NOW without giving you time to seek God’s face, that something is not from God.
The third knock is the knock of man. Not every knock comes from the spiritual realm. Sometimes the knock comes from other human beings. People who want something from you. People who need something from you. People who are bringing something to you, whether good or bad.
The knock of man requires wisdom. Not every person who knocks on your door has bad intentions. Some are genuinely sent by God. Some are genuinely in need of your help. Some are bringing blessings and opportunities that God has arranged. But some are wolves in sheep’s clothing.
Some are agents of the enemy using human form. Some are well meaning people who will unintentionally bring destruction into your life.This is why the Bible says in 1 John 4:1, “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God.”
You must test every knock. You must examine every visitor. You must discern every opportunity. Not with your emotions, not with your ambition, not with your loneliness, but with the Word of God and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
As you take the following prayers, may the fire of God through these prayers chase out the evil hands knocking on your door, and open the door to the Holy Spirit to come and settle in your home, in the name of Jesus.
PRAY IT NOW
1. Father, I thank You that You are the God who stands at the door and knocks. I open my heart to You today. Come in, Lord. Come into my home. Come into my family. Come into my finances. Come into my marriage. Come into my health. Come into every room of my life. You are welcome, Lord, in the name of Jesus.
2. Every door in my life that I have opened to the enemy through sin, through ignorance, through carelessness, through disobedience, I close that door now by the blood of Jesus. What was opened to darkness is now shut. What was accessible to the enemy is now sealed, in the name of Jesus.
3. I apply the blood of Jesus on the doorposts of my home, the front door, the back door, every window, every entrance, every exit. Just as the blood of the lamb protected the homes of Israel from the angel of death, the blood of Jesus protects my home from every agent of darkness, in the name of Jesus.
4. Every witchcraft agent that has been assigned to knock on my door in the spirit realm, I release the fire of God against you. Before you reach my door, the fire shall consume you. Before your hand touches my doorknob, the thunder of God shall strike you down. My door is off limits to the kingdom of darkness, in the name of Jesus.
5. Every spirit of death that has been knocking on my door, targeting me or any member of my family, I rebuke you in the name of Jesus Christ. You shall not enter. You shall not take anyone from my household. We shall live and not die. We shall declare the works of the Lord. Death, pass over this house, in the name of Jesus.
6. Every familiar spirit that has appeared at my door disguised as a dead relative, a deceased friend, or any person who has passed away, I expose your disguise. You are not my loved one. You are a demon. And I command you to leave my doorstep, leave my dreams, and leave my bloodline. I break every ancestral connection that gives you access, in the name of Jesus.
7. Every monitoring spirit that has been knocking on my door to test my defences, I declare that my house is a fortress. My walls are the blood of Jesus. My alarm system is the Holy Ghost. My guards are the angels of God. You tested my defences and found them impenetrable. Do not come back, in the name of Jesus.
8. Every evil gift, evil package, evil letter, or evil object that was delivered to my door in any dream, I return it to sender. I reject every covenant attached to it. I reject every curse inside it. I refuse every spiritual trap disguised as a blessing. Return to sender and burn by fire, in the name of Jesus.
9. Every door that was forced open in my dream, every spiritual invasion, every forced entry, every unauthorized access into my life, I reverse that invasion now. I push the intruder out by the power of the Holy Ghost. I repair the door. I reinforce the lock. I seal it with the blood. No one shall break into my life again, in the name of Jesus.
10. Every persistent knock of the enemy, every temptation, every attack, every problem that keeps coming back again and again, I declare that you shall not wear me down. My resistance is renewed daily by the Holy Ghost. I will not grow weary. I will not give in. I will not open this door. Knock until your knuckles break, this door stays shut, in the name of Jesus.
11. Father, I ask for the spirit of discernment. Help me to know the difference between Your knock and the enemy’s knock. Help me to know when to open the door and when to keep it shut. Help me to recognize divine visitors and reject demonic impostors. Let me never open the wrong door or close the right one, in the name of Jesus.
12. Every new opportunity that God is sending to my door, every new job, every new contract, every new relationship, every new open door, I receive it with thanksgiving. I open the door of my life to every blessing that comes from the throne of God. Let my door be a landing pad for Heaven’s deliveries, in the name of Jesus.
13. Every spirit of disappointment and false hope that has been knocking on my door and leaving emptiness, I break your pattern over my life. The next knock on my door shall bring something real, something tangible, something from God. No more empty promises. No more hollow opportunities. Only substance. Only fulfilment. Only the real thing, in the name of Jesus.
14. Every midnight knock, every night attack, every witchcraft visitation between the hours of 12 AM and 3 AM, I cover that time window with the blood of Jesus. My midnight is protected. My sleep is guarded. No terror by night shall prosper against me. I shall lie down in peace and sleep in safety, for the Lord alone makes me dwell in security, in the name of Jesus.
15. I decree that my home is a dwelling place of the Holy Spirit. Every room is sanctified. Every corner is consecrated. The presence of God fills this house from floor to ceiling. And where the presence of God dwells, no demon can survive. My house is holy ground, in the name of Jesus.
16. Every ancestral door that was opened by my forefathers through idol worship, blood covenants, occult participation, or spiritual compromise, I close that door today by the blood of Jesus. What my ancestors opened, I shut. What they invited in, I cast out. The generational open door is sealed permanently, in the name of Jesus.
17. Father, I pray for my children, my spouse, and every member of my household. Cover them with Your blood. Station Your angels around them. Guard them when they sleep. Protect them when they are awake. Let no evil knock reach their door. Let no dark visitor disturb their peace. They are Yours, Lord, and You protect what is Yours, in the name of Jesus.
18. Every legal ground the enemy is using to gain access to my life whether it is unforgiveness in my heart, unconfessed sin, broken vows, or spiritual carelessness, I address it today. Father, I repent. I confess every sin. I forgive every person. I renew every vow. Close every loophole. Seal every gap. Leave the enemy with no legal standing, in the name of Jesus.
19. I speak to the doors of my destiny; doors of promotion, doors of favour, doors of opportunity, doors of blessing, doors of breakthrough. I command you to open. The King of Glory is coming through. Lift up your heads, O ye gates. Be lifted up, ye everlasting doors. And let every good thing God has prepared for me come rushing in, in the name of Jesus.
19. Every door of my life that was shut by the enemy, doors of employment, doors of marriage, doors of travel, doors of business, doors of ministry, I command you to open now by the key of David. What He opens, no one shuts. My closed doors are opening today, in the name of Jesus.
20. I speak to every evil doorkeeper; every demon, every principality, every power that has stationed itself at the entrance of my blessing to prevent me from walking through, I unseat you now by the fire of the Holy Ghost. You are not the gatekeeper of my destiny. God is. Move out of the way, in the name of Jesus.
21. Every door that God has opened for me that the enemy is trying to close; every opportunity that was given but is being contested, every favour that was released but is being attacked, I decree that what God has opened shall remain open. No devil can shut it. No witch can lock it. No circumstance can block it. It stays open permanently, in the name of Jesus.
22. I close every back door in my life that the enemy has been using to sneak in while I was guarding the front door. Every hidden entrance, every secret passage, every forgotten opening, I find you now by the light of the Holy Spirit and I seal you with the blood of Jesus. No more back door attacks, in the name of Jesus.
23. Every wrong door I have opened in my life, doors I opened through bad decisions, wrong relationships, sinful choices, compromise, and disobedience, Father, forgive me. I repent today. And I close every wrong door now by the blood of Jesus. What should have never been opened is now permanently shut, in the name of Jesus.
24. I decree that no human being shall be used as a door for the enemy to enter my life. Not my spouse. Not my children. Not my friends. Not my colleagues. Not my neighbours. I cover every person connected to me with the blood of Jesus. The enemy shall not use the people I love as entry points for attack, in the name of Jesus.
25. Every evil visitor that has already entered my home through a dream whether they came through a knock I answered, a door that was forced open, or a back door I did not know about, I command you to leave now. This is the temple of the living God. You are trespassing. Get out. Leave my home. Leave my family. Leave my body. Leave my mind. Get out by fire, in the name of Jesus.
26. I speak to the door of my health. No sickness shall enter through this door. No disease shall walk through this gate. My body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, and the temple is sealed against every infirmity. Cancer cannot enter. Diabetes cannot enter. High blood pressure cannot enter. No sickness that knocks shall be answered. My health door is locked by the blood, in the name of Jesus.
27. I speak to the door of my finances. No spirit of poverty shall enter through this door. No spirit of debt shall walk through this gate. No devourer shall cross this threshold. My finances are protected by the covenant of tithing and the promise of God. The windows of heaven are open over my life, but the doors of lack are sealed shut, in the name of Jesus.
28. I speak to the door of my marriage and my relationships. No spirit of division shall enter. No spirit of adultery shall walk through. No spirit of strife, bitterness, or misunderstanding shall cross this threshold. My home is a place of love, peace, and unity. And the door is sealed against every relationship destroyer, in the name of Jesus.
29. I speak to the door of my mind. No spirit of depression shall enter. No spirit of anxiety shall walk through. No spirit of confusion, fear, madness, or suicidal thoughts shall cross this threshold. My mind is guarded by the peace of God that passes all understanding. The door of my mind is sealed. Only the thoughts of God are welcome, in the name of Jesus.
30. Every knock that I hear in the physical realm like strange sounds on my door at night, unexplained banging, or knocking when no one is there, I rebuke the spirit behind it. You are exposed. You cannot hide behind physical sounds. I command you to cease. Stop knocking. Stop harassing. Stop intimidating. The blood of Jesus silences you, in the name of Jesus.
31. Every evil dedication that was performed at the door of my house whether by a previous tenant, a former owner, a family member, or an enemy who came to my doorstep and performed a ritual, I cancel that dedication now. I rededicate this house to the Lord Jesus Christ. This property belongs to the Kingdom of God. Every old dedication is overwritten by the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
32. I speak to the doorpost of my house like the Israelites in Egypt. I declare the blood of the Lamb upon the left doorpost, the right doorpost, and the upper doorpost. The destroyer shall see the blood and pass over. No plague shall come near my dwelling. No destruction shall visit my home. The blood is my protection, and the blood never fails, in the name of Jesus.
33. Every dream where I opened the door to a stranger and something evil entered my life, I reverse that dream now. I shut the door that I opened. I push out the stranger that I let in. I cancel every consequence that followed. Whatever entered my life through that dream is expelled today. What was done in the dream is undone by the power of the cross, in the name of Jesus.
34. Every covenant that was initiated at my door in the dream whether I received food, money, a gift, a letter, a handshake, or any object from a visitor at my door, I renounce that covenant. I reject that transaction. I return every item to the kingdom of darkness. No agreement was made. No deal was sealed. I am in covenant with Jesus Christ alone, and every other covenant is broken by His blood, in the name of Jesus.
35. Father, I pray for the gift of discernment. When a knock comes to my door in the spirit or in the natural, let me know instantly whether it is from You or from the enemy. Let my spirit be sensitive. Let my instincts be sharp. Let the Holy Spirit warn me before I open any wrong door. I will not walk blindly. I will walk in the light of Your wisdom, in the name of Jesus.
36. I decree that every door of delay in my life is broken open today. If my job has been delayed, open the door. If my visa has been delayed, open the door. If my marriage has been delayed, open the door. If my healing has been delayed, open the door. The spirit of delay is not the doorkeeper of my life. God is. And God says OPEN, in the name of Jesus.
37. I speak to every ancestral door that was opened in my bloodline. Every door my great-grandparents opened through idol worship, I close it. Every door my grandparents opened through occult participation, I close it. Every door my parents opened through spiritual compromise, I close it. Every generational door is now shut, sealed, and padlocked by the blood of Jesus. What my ancestors opened, I close today. And it shall remain closed forever, in the name of Jesus.
38. I pray for the doors of my children. Every door of education, open. Every door of good health, open. Every door of divine protection, open. Every door of favour with teachers, with mentors, with friends, open. And every evil door that the enemy is trying to open in the lives of my children like drugs, bad friends, sexual sin, rebellion, occult influence, I slam that door shut now by the blood of Jesus. My children shall walk through blessed doors only, in the name of Jesus.
40. Every spirit of fear that the enemy has been using to keep me from opening the doors God is presenting to me, I cast you out now. God has not given me a spirit of fear but of power, of love, and of a sound mind. I will open every door God presents to me with boldness, with faith, and with confidence, in the name of Jesus.
41. Every evil neighbour, evil landlord, evil colleague, or evil family member who has been assigned by the enemy to be the “knocker”, the one who brings trouble to my door, who starts problems, who creates conflict, who disturbs my peace, I bind the spirit operating through them. I decree that the troublemaker at my door shall be silenced. Peace shall guard my gate. Favour shall answer my door. And every agent of disturbance shall be reassigned far away from my life, in the name of Jesus.
42. I decree that the door of my womb is blessed. For every woman believing God for children, no spirit of barrenness shall lock this door. No spirit of miscarriage shall enter through this door. The fruit of the womb is the Lord’s reward, and no power shall shut the door of conception, pregnancy, or safe delivery. My womb is open to blessing and closed to attack, in the name of Jesus.
43. Every trap that has been set at my doorstep, every ambush waiting for me outside my door, every attack programmed for the moment I step out of my house, I destroy that trap by fire. The snare is broken. The ambush is scattered. The trap is dismantled. I shall go out in peace. I shall come in with joy. The Lord goes before me and the glory of God is my rear guard, in the name of Jesus.
44. I speak to the door of my ministry. Every calling that God has placed on my life, every assignment He has given me, every anointing He has deposited in me, I command the door of ministry to open wide. Let me walk into my assignment without hindrance. Let platforms open. Let invitations come. Let opportunities present themselves. The door of ministry swings open now, in the name of Jesus.
45. Every evil stranger that I allowed into my life in a dream, every unknown person I opened the door to, every face I did not recognise but still welcomed, I evict them from my life now. You entered without God’s permission. You entered through deception. And now I cast you out. I shut the door behind you and I lock it with the key of David. You are never welcome here again, in the name of Jesus.
46. I decree that the doors of my home are praise gates. Every time someone walks through my door, they shall feel the presence of God. Every visitor shall encounter the atmosphere of Heaven. My home shall be known as a house of prayer, a house of worship, a house of peace, and a house of blessing. The glory of God shall be the doormat of my home, anyone who steps in steps into glory, in the name of Jesus.
47. Every spirit assigned to make me open the wrong door at the wrong time, every spirit of impatience, every spirit of desperation, every spirit of rushing ahead of God, I bind you now. I will wait for God’s timing. I will not open a door just because it is available. I will only open doors that God has approved. I choose wisdom over speed. I choose discernment over desperation. I choose God’s door over man’s door, in the name of Jesus.
48. I pray for everyone hearing this message who has been experiencing knocking in their dreams. Father, cover them with Your blood. Protect their homes. Seal their doors. Station Your angels around their houses. Let no evil visitor gain access. Let no witchcraft agent succeed. Let no spirit of death prevail. Let every dreamer under the sound of this prayer be shielded, guarded, and preserved by the power of the Almighty, in the name of Jesus.
49. I decree that no weapon fashioned against me shall be delivered to my door. Every arrow of sickness, stop at the gate. Every arrow of poverty, stop at the gate. Every arrow of shame, stop at the gate. Every arrow of death, stop at the gate. The blood of Jesus is my security checkpoint, and no evil delivery passes through, in the name of Jesus.
50. Every person who has visited my home with evil intentions, who came through my door with a smile on their face but a curse in their heart, who sat in my living room and observed my blessings with envy, who used my bathroom and deposited a charm, who touched my walls and placed a spell, who admired my possessions and cast an evil eye, I cancel every evil they left behind. I neutralize every curse. I destroy every charm. I break every spell. I blind every evil eye. My home is cleansed by the fire of the Holy Ghost right now, in the name of Jesus.
