Introduction
Bad news has the power to shake hearts, weaken faith, and bring seasons of sorrow into families. Throughout the Scriptures, we see that God is not the author of evil reports. He is the God who delivers, preserves, restores, and surrounds His children with His divine protection.
When we stand in prayer, we enforce God’s promises over our households and reject every assignment of darkness that seeks to introduce grief, tragedy, sickness, untimely death, financial disaster, or any evil report into our families.
The Bible declares that no evil shall befall us and no plague shall come near our dwelling. This means every family that belongs to Christ has a covenant of preservation. As believers, we are not helpless before the attacks of the enemy. Through fervent prayers, we can silence every voice of calamity, cancel every evil announcement, and establish God’s peace over every member of our household.
